“Paryushan Parv” is the most important festival in Jainism, focused on self-purification, forgiveness, and spiritual growth. The word “Paryushan” means “to stay in one place,” reflecting a time of introspection and inner peace.
At Bhavna Trust Junior and Degree College of Commerce and Science, the Jain Mandal celebrated the festival with devotion. Activities included prayer sessions, spiritual talks, and Pratikraman (introspection). Students and faculty actively participated, promoting values of non-violence, truth, and compassion.
Such celebrations in college encourage moral development and spiritual well-being among students.
