IQAC and Marathi Vangmay Mandal celebrated Marathi Bhasha Diwas on Wednesday, 27th February 2019 in the seminar hall at 11.00 am onwards. Marathi Vangmay Mandal Convener Asst Prof. Aparna Kambli and speaker Asst.Prof Vrushali Gholap informed students about the Marathi Bhasha Diwas.
Marathi Diwas, also known as Marathi Language Day, is celebrated every year on February 27th to honor the Marathi language and its rich literary heritage. The day holds cultural significance, aiming to promote and preserve the Marathi language and its vibrant culture.
A highlight of the celebration was the cultural performances that showcased the diversity of Marathi arts. Traditional folk dances, classical music performances, and modern theatrical presentations captivated the audience. These performances not only entertained but also served as a means to pass on Marathi traditions to younger generations.
