The College always takes great deal of interest in the students skilling and empowering for their better tomorrow.In this respect , the College has organised the Skills Development & Green Networking and Computing knowledge based program which is conducted by Cs/IT Department.
The key mission of green computing is to reduce energy consumption. Green computing in the sense , computers have negative impacts to our environment as well as users. The waste of hardware materials contains chemicals which are toxic. A computer left for so many hours will produce high electronic cost as well as it produces carbon-di-oxide in the atmosphere .An important consideration with green IT is to reduce the use of energy from fossil fuels. This helps lower the amount of pollution released into the atmosphere and water system. Reduced emissions have been shown to have positive effects on weather and air pollution.
