IQAC and Cultural Committee celebrated Garba on Tuesday, 18th October 2018 in the seminar hall at 11.00 am onwards. Under the Guidance of Cultural Committee Convener Asst Prof. Monali Patankar. Navratri is a major festival in India, and Garba is a central component of the festivities.These festivals bring together communities, families, and individuals to participate in the joyous and energetic dance of Garba. People of all ages and backgrounds join in the celebrations.Alongside Garba, Dandiya Raas is another popular dance form during these festivals. It involves dancers using decorated sticks called dandiyas, creating a dynamic and synchronized pattern of movements.Some Garba festivals include dance competitions, where participants and groups showcase their skills. Prizes are often awarded for the best performances, encouraging friendly competition.
