Introduction –
An Educational-learning- tour to “Parle-G” Silvassa for two days Industrial Area, Gujarat was successfully organised by the Department of educational-learning-tour on thursday ,19thJanuary2023, sixty three students and four faculties( Assist .prof. Aakansha Pandey, RupaliSinkar, PratikshaPawar, Pooja Tiwari ) visited to Parle-GPvt Ltd to understand how the production activity, management process, technology works and also to acquire knowledge & experience.
Then all the students and teachers went to Parle-G companyby the bus.The bus left the campus by 6.30am and reached the venue 12.30pm between that we had breakfast then after that all had a lunch. Later on we all visited a Parle-G company.
After the security check the students were taken to introduction room and given a briefing of rules & guidelines to be followed by everyone inside the industry. All students was in the formal attire. Students were divided into two batches students were escorted to assembly line by the production manager and our guide Mr. Sagar & with the help of videos they briefly explained about the process and operations undertaken by the plants and machinery than we also seen the actual production and students also got to know about the Parle-G industry and their procedure of making their various products like what are the quality taste undergone and what they do with the rejected product.
Finally Students were taken to seminar hall by our guide Mr. Sagar and production manager and they answer each question asked by the students patiently and before leaving, the company offered Parle-G biscuits to all the students.
The Educational-learning- tour to Parle-G company enriched students knowledge & experience and also provide a great opportunity to learn practically through demonstration , interaction, exchange of information which will help students in their further career growth.
