The NSS department of Bhavna trust degree college, Deonar conducted a blood donation camp for the students of the college on 10th August 2024 at 9.30 am to 2.00 pm. The blood donation camp had a overwhelming response from the students, teaching and non teaching staff of the college. 72 students of the college took part in the blood donation drive and 45 samples of blood were collected. The blood donation camp was organized with the assistance of reputed blood bank of Mumbai, J.J. Mahanagar blood bank which is recognized by state blood transfusion council of Maharashtra government (SBTC). The blood donation was conducted under the supervision of public relations officer Mrs. Neeta Dange and a team of expert doctors and technicians of the blood bank. The donors were given Gifts, certificates and blood cards of the government. The refreshements, biscuits, fruits, coffee, etc were provided by the college management.
