The United Nations General Assembly in 2007 decided to observe the International Day of Non-Violence each year on 2nd October i.e. the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Every year NSS Cell of Bhavna Trust Degree College observes the International Day of Non-Violence on 2nd October-Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti. This year too, we observed the International Day of Non-Violence on 2nd October 2021 on online mode at 11.00 am. The non-violence pledge was administered to the youth and participants. The favourite Bhajans of Bapu were broadcasted during the program.The program had speeches of students, Teachers and the Chairman on Gandhian thoughts and his contribution to freedom struggle movement. The online program was attended by 37 participants. Various activities like Essay writing, Speeches & Slogan writing. Quiz, drawing competition, poems and peace song, publishing articles on peace messages on social media were conducted between 2/10/2021 to 7/10/2021.
