Municipal Corporation Of Greater Mumbai has named the 10th road in Chembur as “Keshavji Umarshi Chhadva Marg, Road No. 10”in the remembrance of Late. Keshavjibhai Umarshi Chhadva who was a Great Social Worker , Industrialist And Educationist from Chembur. Late. Keshavji bhai was the trustee of Rishabhdev Jain Derasar in Chembur and founder Chairman of Shah And Anchor Kutchi Engineering College and Bhavna Trusts School and College. Late. Keshavji bhai was awarded with presitigious Jain Samaj Ratna and Samaj Shiromani Puraskar for his excellent social and educational contribution for the society.
The Naming Ceremony organized on 28th November 2021,was graced by the presence of Param Pujya. Nirajanand Shreeji Maharaj, Shri. Rahul Shewale, (Member Of Parliament), Shri. Prakash Phatarpekar (Member Of Legislative Assembly, Smt. Asha Tai Marathe(Muncipal Councilor), Shri. Chandrakant Bhai Gogri Of Aarti Industries, Shri. Shamji Bhai Vora(Amarsons), Shri.Atul Damji Bhai Anchorwala (Anchor industries), Shri. After the naming ceremony, there was a Audio Visual Programme in Shivaswami Fine Arts Society Auditorium Chembur , where in a memoirs book Smaranika in Gujrati was published in honour of Late. Keshavji bhai. A Digital App for the Kutchi Jain families in Chembur, donated by Chhadva Family, was also inaugurated on the occasion. Many respected personalities from Chembur were felicitated on this occasion by Shri. Jayanti bhai Keshavji bhai Chhadva and family.
