On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the University of Mumbai organised a Bhajan Sandhya Programme at the Gateway of India, Mumbai, to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and spread the message of peace, harmony and non-violence.
A total of 36 NSS volunteers from Bhavna Trust Junior & Degree college of commerce & Science actively participated in the programme. The volunteers attended the devotional bhajans and paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi. The programme created a peaceful and inspiring atmosphere and reminded everyone of Gandhiji’s values of truth, non-violence and unity.
The participation of the NSS volunteers provided them with an opportunity to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti meaningfully and strengthen their commitment towards social service and the ideals of the nation.
