In response to the instructions given by University of Mumbai NSS Dept. for celebration of International Womens Day on 8th March 2022,the NSS unit of Bhavna Trust Degree College had Organised a workshop on the theme of Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow .In the seminar organised in the Seminar Hall the DBM India officials explained about various opportunities and courses available for empowerment of Women students. A Sanitary Pad vending machine was donated to the college and was inaugurated in the presence of President Shri. Jayant Bhawsar and DBM INDIA officers Shri. Manish Chavhan and counsellor Sudha Madam. Madam explained the importance of Menstrual Hygiene and gave demonstration of Vending Machine to the students .Free Sanitary pads, Masks and sanitizers were distributed on the occasion.All Professors and members of DLLE and WDC units were also present on the occasion along with 94 Students including 42 NSS Volunteers who participated in the program.
